When is the last time you did you?


Don't remember? Perhaps recently? Whatever your answer, I encourage you to do indulge in a little "you time" each day!⁣

Among our crazy, busy lives taking care of ourselves first and foremost is easy to brush aside when there's 1,001 other things to do, but self-care must become a priority not an option.⁣

I have a nurturing trait as many of those closest to me would describe. I care deeply and like taking care of others. But how do I expect to do so when I'm not taking care of myself and feeling burnout. You can't pour from an empty glass as they say.⁣

It seems like such a buzzword anymore, but self-care is vital. When you take the time and indulge in "you time" it allows you to fully show up in a deeper, meaningful way that enhances your relationships, health, motivation, and quality of living. ⁣

Self-care is different for every woman. Some like to indulge in a spa day, a good solid sleep, retail therapy, in my case it changes, I’ll take myself on a date, spend time in nature, and of course my morning journaling routine before conquering the day ahead.⁣

It's like anything, there's no "one size fits all" approach to self-care. Find a few minutes amid your busy day to indulge as it enhances your physical, mental, and emotional health and well being.⁣
