3 Clever Ways to STOP Comparing Yourself to Others.


What do you bring to the table?

You know, all of those unique qualities and talents that set you apart from the billions of people on this entire planet.  

In this day and age it’s so easy to get caught up in the “comparison mode” of who and what everyone else is doing and easily get frustrated with ourselves feeling like we should be at a certain point in our lives.

Yeah, I’ve gotten caught up in the hype at times, but haven’t we all? There’s really no benefit in comparing ourselves to others, it discounts the person we are.

Like anything worth achieving it takes practice, and patience, and at times I still do get caught up in the hype I have learned to overcome it remembering all the amazing qualities I bring to the table.

Now I want to encourage you to do the same. Here are 3 Ways to stop comparing yourself to others:

Turn Comparison > Motivation

Whenever you see someone doing well, instead of judging and becoming jealous use it as the fuel to motivate you to achieve your goals. Develop the “if they can do it, so can I” mentality.

Love it and List it

One of my mentors mentioned writing a list of our qualities, achievements, and things we love about ourselves. When we get down it’s a great reference tool, a good kick in the ass reminder of what a badass we are.

Remember Beauty’s only Skin Deep

Just because someone’s life may be portrayed and outlined as this picture perfect image especially with social media, doesn’t mean they don’t go through the challenges life presents. We all have shit to deal with.
